Remote Display Version History
Remote Display has been withdrawn on 2007/07/16.
-
1.0.1
- • Mac Remote Display Server crashed if it failed to load the system firewall settings. Fixed.
- • The wrong display mode could be used on an extension display because of a limit in the number of modes used. Fixed by (a) increasing the limit on the Windows client, and (b) removing the limit on the Mac client.
- • Remote Display Server was using the largest display mode reported by a video card as the default display mode for that display, but some display devices cannot display the largest display mode, which caused them to display 'out of range' messages when Remote Display Client tried to extend its desktop onto those remote displays. Fixed by defaulting to the current display mode of the display device, which is assumed to be a valid mode.
- • Windows Remote Display Server would fail to install because the zero configuration service failed to install. It now installs even if the service could not be installed.
